WALK YOUR PATH WELL ADVENTURES are designed to engage active children in a healthy, outdoor environment. Serving children in the Durham/Chapel Hill/Hillsborough area for the past five years, the Walk Your Path Well Adventures promote physical fitness, cooperation, and enjoyment of the outdoors.

WHAT MAKES WALK YOUR PATH WELL ADVENTURES UNIQUE?

With a maximum enrollment of 20 participants, the Walk Your Path Well program features hands-on activities, personal attention, and a schedule which is flexible to fit the interests of the group. The size and structure of the program enhances safety, participation and creativity.

The following programs are offered for 7-12 year olds: Seasonal Camps packed with field games, river exploration and outdoor wilderness skills. Camps also include fire-building techniques, dramatic games, nature art and campfire cooking. Teacher Workday Camps feature cooperative games, art & cards, shelter-building and campfire-cooking.

Exclusively for 12-14 year olds, Walk Your Path Well Adventures offers the

Ultimate Strider Adventure; a 9-day backpacking trip on the AppalachianTrail. This trip provides the ultimate nature experience, from hiking and camping to white water rafting, tubing and a high-ropes course in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
